One-Day Symposium:
Directions & Trends in Egg Freezing
Fertility SOURCE Companies is proud to present our First Annual East Coast, Third Party Reproduction One-Day Symposium: “Directions & Trends in Egg Freezing” on Friday, Sept 26, 2008.
»Symposium Agenda & RSVP Form*
*This symposium is oriented to Fertility Practice Clinicians
and staff, and is not open to the general public.
Ovum Cryopreservation (egg freezing) has been much talked about in recent times and many think it will dominate Third Party Reproduction in the near future. Many believe that use of frozen eggs involves less coordination for donor IVF cycles and perhaps less cost for IVF patients. As success rates improve, the expectation of large scale resort to egg freezing grows. Our one-day symposium will focus on the clinical, legal and psychological/ethical aspects of egg freezing. Further, via roundtables, we will seek to discuss controversial and developmental aspects of egg freezing.
We have arranged a group of speakers who are prominent in the Third Party Reproduction field. We will also be hosting roundtable discussion sessions on key subjects of interest to all those who are involved with treatments relating to Egg Freezing, Egg Donation and Surrogacy.
We will be hosting a one-day program that will cover the following topics:
- The Jury’s Out: Egg Freezing and Other New Legal and Ethical Challenges in 3rd Party Reproduction
- The Business of Egg Donation; Ethical Considerations
- Toward a National Frozen Egg Bank – Is it Feasible?
- Roundtable Discussions on Egg Donation and Egg Freezing
As Egg Freezing in Third Party Reproduction becomes a more important aspect of the fertility world, it is critical to keep up to date on new developments in the clinical, legal and administrative realms. Each year, our annual seminars will focus on the major areas of interest. We think your attendance will be worthwhile and we look forward to seeing you.
The program will run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and will be held at the Marriott, East Side in New York City. Complimentary lunch will be served as part of the program.
The SOURCE Forum:
New Egg Donation & Surrogacy Blog
Fertility SOURCE Companies is proud to announce the initiation of a highly informative blog for Third Party Reproduction matters. We’re excited to launch The SOURCE Forum: An Egg Donation and Surrogacy blog.
Our intention is to provide relevant information regarding all things related to egg donation and Surrogacy; and to provide some insight to those of you considering being an egg donor, or a surrogate, or considering the use of donor eggs or a gestational carrier. Our purpose is to pass along the latest and most pertinent information on subjects that relate to egg donation and Surrogacy.
We hope to become a focal point for the voices of parties involved in and/or interested in Third Party Reproduction matters, including: fertility physicians, staff of fertility practices, fertility patients, egg donors, surrogates, attorneys, and psychotherapists.
We encourage you to post your thoughts and comments. Please visit our blog at http://thesourceforum.blogspot.com.
